Loxahatchee River Painting-Egret Wilderness

Landscape Art, Loxahatchee River Painting Gorgeous nature painting of two white egrets in the Florida Loxahatchee River wilderness.  The Loxahatchee River has huge mangroves and beautiful palm trees.   The soaring egret flies over the serene river and a lone egret is by the edge of the mangroves.  This nature painting is based on a trip my husband and I took to the Loxahatchee River at Johnathan Dickinson State Park where we had a wonderful picnic by the river.  This park has canoes and kayaks for rent,  and for a small fee you can take an hour long boat ride down the river.    Trapper John's cabins will be  a stop along the boat ride.  Trapper John was known as the "Wildman of the Loxahatchee".   Along, the river you will, no doubt, see alligators.  There was one brave sole that was paddling done the river on a paddle board.  He was laying on his stomach and was using his hands to paddle.   We did a little hiking down a walking trail that day and enjoyed the scene
