Vibrant large sunset marsh painting is an original nature painting.  It was inspired by a trip to a Florida coastal nature park called Green Cay Nature Center  with lush green grass and cypress trees.  A long boardwalk goes over wetlands.  You can observe alligators and coastal birds in this lovely serene park.  Nature photographers were there taking paintings of the wildlife and marshlands.  The painting was done with a palette knife in an impressionist style.

Loxahatchee River Painting-Egret Wilderness

Landscape Art, Loxahatchee River Painting Gorgeous nature painting of two white egrets in the Florida Loxahatchee River wilderness.  The Loxahatchee River has huge mangroves and beautiful palm trees.   The soaring egret flies over the serene river and a lone egret is by the edge of the mangroves.  This nature painting is based on a trip my husband and I took to the Loxahatchee River at Johnathan Dickinson State Park where we had a wonderful picnic by the river.  This park has canoes and kayaks for rent,  and for a small fee you can take an hour long boat ride down the river.    Trapper John's cabins will be  a stop along the boat ride.  Trapper John was known as the "Wildman of the Loxahatchee".   Along, the river you will, no doubt, see alligators.  There was one brave sole that was paddling done the river on a paddle board.  He was laying on his stomach and was using his hands to paddle.   We did a little hiking down a walking trail that day and enjoyed the scene

This marsh painting is done is in the impressionist style and is inspired by a trip we took last year to Charleston. On the way we stopped in Beaufort, South Carolina.  This lovely coastal town has some of the most beautiful marshes, beaches and waterways.  We got there  late on Sunday morning so it was pretty quite downtown.  We found a little restaurant called Blackstones.  It seemed popular with the locals so we stopped and we had a great breakfast.  We  did a little shopping down by the waterfront (a few stores were open by noon).  We enjoyed a long conversation with one of the store owners who was very friendly and gave us some tips on what to see and do.  We were only in town for the day before we headed for Charleston.  Next time, I would stay
